The Esterházy Castle in Fertőd is the largest baroque-Rococo monument in Hungary with a special architectural and art historical value. He lived his heyday in the second half of the 18th century in the time of the builder Miklós "Fényes" Esterházy. Joseph Haydn lived and worked here for decades.
